Innovascope develops and markets active materials used in energy storage and conversion. Currently we provide the so-called plasma black as well as metallic powders with core-shell structure

Left: Plasma Black 100-3758: This particular plasma black is produced via cracking of methane in plasma reactor. This product does not have as high surface area ( only 100 m2/g) but the interlayer distance is quite high and has a value of 0.3758 nm. Right, SEM micrograph of Plasma Black M300, see the reference below for more detail
Three grades of plasma blacks(PB) are currently avalable;
– Plasma Black-300,
– Plasma Black-200
– Plasma Black -100
Here the last three digits refer to the surface area of the PB in units of m2/g. We can adjust the surface area, more importantly we can also adjust the interlayer distance between the graphitic layers .
We can also provide metallic particles with graphitic shells or oxide shells to be used as support material for catalysts and other purposes.
